Baking was always a hobby for Chrissie... Initially baking for family and friends, Chrissie ventured into wheat and gluten-free cakes when she discovered her own intolerance to wheat. Hence, any of Chrissie's cakes can be ordered in a regular or gluten-free version, and most cakes can also be made dairy or egg free on request. She firmly believes that everybody deserves cake, and now finds herself busy baking most nights of the week when the children are in bed!

Chrissie believes in ethical sourcing of products so uses free-range, organic, unrefined or fair-trade ingredients wherever she can source them, and is happy to give a complete list of ingredients if required. Dairy is always free-range, and the free-range organic eggs Chrissie cooks with are sourced from within 15 miles from Woodpecker Farm, Chilham (01227 730790 - as seen at the Whitstable Farmers' Markets, 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month at the Umbrella Centre).

She also believes in fair pricing so her products are reasonable and affordable.

Chrissie believes in personal service - you can discuss your needs and decide how best to meet them, and after the initial order Chrissie is always available on 07511 009 757 to chat, or can come and speak to you in person. A high percentage of Chrissie's business comes from referrals and repeat orders.
